TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • If you buy, gift or transfer Virgin Points the Virgin Red Programme terms and conditions apply in addition to the terms and conditions set out below.

  • The buy, gift and transfer Virgin Points service is operated on behalf of Virgin Red by Points.com Inc and so their terms and conditions will also apply.

  • The person you are transferring points to must be a Virgin Red member and you will need the details of their Virgin Red account to complete the transfer.

  • The only fee payable for transferring points to other Virgin Red members is a one-off £10/$15 transaction fee, which applies regardless of the number of points you are transferring. So, whether you transfer 1,000 points, 5,000 points, 10,000 points or another amount of points you will pay £10/$15.

  • There is no overall limit to the number of points you can transfer (or receive) although minimum increments apply based on the total number of points being transferred. For example, transfers of between 1,000 and 100,000 must be made in increments of 1,000 points. Transfers of up to 2,000,000 points will be processed as a standard transaction by Points.com Inc. For transfers in excess of 2,000,000 points, the first 2,000,000 points will be processed as a standard transaction by Points.com Inc but you will need to contact Virgin Red’s member support team via membersupport@virgin.com for the balance of any transfer in excess of 2,000,000 points to be processed, subject to completion of some additional checks. There is no limit to the number of other Virgin Red members you can transfer points to.

  • Points should be credited to accounts within 24 hours, though this may be longer in some cases. For example, the balance of transfers in excess of 100,000 points could take up to 7 days.

  • Once a points transfer transaction has been completed it cannot be cancelled or reversed. Any points transferred are non-refundable and non-transferable, except as expressly permitted under these terms and the Virgin Red Programme terms.

  • If points are to be used for a specific reward it is recommended that current availability of that reward is checked first.
